We take great pleasure in sharing that Hughes Communications India has been recognized for its milestone achievement and honored for its pioneering commercial launch of India's first High-Throughput Satellite (HTS) broadband service by Broadband India Forum.

The HTS broadband service from Hughes combines Ku-band capacity from the Indian Space Research Organization’s (ISRO’s) GSAT-11 and GSAT-29 satellites with Hughes JUPITER™ Platform ground technology to deliver high-speed broadband across India. Hughes HTS service brings Multi Mbps speed per site using high power Multi Gbps High Throughput Satellite and comes with the unmatched advantage of reaching remote places, beyond the reach of existing terrestrial networks to Power Critical Enterprise and Government Networks.
